Sodium Carbonate (soda ash) is a odorless white powder sodium salt of carbonic acid. It is available in either light or dense consistency. Both are certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 60 for use in drinking water up to a maximum of 100 mg/L.

Sodium carbonate is domestically well known for its everyday use as a water softener. It is also a common additive in municipal pools used to neutralize the acidic effects of chlorine and raise pH.

Soda Ash Dense has a Bulk Density of 56.2 – 65 lbs per cubic foot.
